ILEOLA - 16.64m Timber Sailing Yacht, Schooner Rig, C1952

Formal Offers are invited for th e Ileola, moored at Marlin Marina, Cairns, Qld:
“Ileola” - The vessel is of carvel planked Spotted Gum mono-hull, triple mast with Schooner Rig. Length: 16.64 Mtrs, Beam: 3.05 Mtrs, Draft: 1.60 Mtrs. Engine: Gardner 5LW, 5cyl Diesel, 44.7 Kw. Commercially Registered. The vessel was designed by Sir Francis Herreshoff and built in Geelong VIC circa 1952. Previously used commercially as a Charter Yacht in the Whitsunday Region, the vessel represents a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of Australian maritime history and restore the vessel to her former glory for commercial use or private enjoyment.
